This feature has been implemented in KPI Dashboard in Q2-2011.

At Mirror42 we believe one of the next steps in our KPI Dashboard tool should be to ability to set thresholds for KPIs besides the target. If thresholds are exceeded the system should notify the owner of a KPI. This feature could also be used to filter KPI scores that are submitted via the API and detect scores that should be validated by a human before they are published.
